The PKK, which has marked the last 50 years, held its 12th Congress with the participation of 232 delegated. During the congress, “This is not an end, but a new beginning” said Duran Kalkan, a member of the PKK Executive Committee.
Commemoration events for PKK’s leading cadres Ali Haydar Kaytan and Rıza Altun will be held in several cities.
During its 12th Congress, the PKK commemorated İmralı Delegation member Sırrı Süreyya Önder, stated: “We renew our promise to all martyrs of the struggle and affirm our commitment to fulfilling the dreams of Peace and Democracy Martyr Comrade Sırrı Süreyya Önder.”
