NEWS CENTER - The Syrian Transitional Government forces closed the Tebqa-Salemiya road, which connects North and East Syria to other parts of the country.
The government forces had previously closed the Tebqa-Selamiya road for 14 days and reopened it on 20 October. Hundreds of cars are waiting at the checkpoint of the Transitional Government forces at the Zakiyeh junction near the town of Asriyeh in Hama countryside.
Hesen Xabur, Co-Chair of the Raqqa Region Drivers' Union, said in a statement that the Transitional Government forces once again blocked the road with barriers, resulting in vehicles piling up at checkpoints.
