NEWS CENTER – Paramilitary groups affiliated to the Syrian Transitional Government are bombarding the Tishreen Dam. 

 

The armed groups affiliated to the Syrian Transitional Government continued their attacks on Tishreen (Tişrîn) Dam and its surroundings the previous day. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced that the armed groups affiliated to the transitional government shelled the dam and its surroundings using heavy weapons such as tanks and artillery. 

 

SDF stated that this attack on service facilities and civilians poses a great threat. The SDF stated that the interim government is responsible for these attacks and that they have the right to protect civilians and service facilities within the scope of legitimate defence.
