March for Wan in Amed

AMED - In Amed, the usurpation of the will of the voters in Wan was protested with a march.
 
Amed Provincial Organization of the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) formed a convoy with vehicles to protest the decision to give the certificate of election of Abdullah Zeydan, who was elected as Wan Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor, to the AKP candidate. Many parts of the city were toured with a convoy of hundreds of vehicles. At the event attended by Amed Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Doğan Hatun and Serra Bucak, the Wan decision was protested by honking horns.
 
In addition, slogans such as "Bijî berxwedana Wanê (Long live resistance of Wan)", "We will win by resisting" and "Abdullah Zeydan is our honor" were frequently chanted. Citizens around supported the party members in the convoy with victory signs. Citizens blocked the convoy in the Ofis district and protested Wan's decision together. Hundreds of people closed Ekinciler Street in Ofis to vehicle traffic for a while, chanting "Amed, protect your will".
 
A march was also organized in Rezan (Bağlar) district. During the march, slogans such as "Kurdistan will be a grave for fascism" and "We will win by resisting" were chanted. Amed Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayors Doğan Hatun and Serra Bucak reacted to the decision made in Wan.
