Wan protests against will usurpation for 2 days

WAN - Tens of thousands of people in Wan have been resisting on all streets and avenues for 2 days against the AKP's election coup.
 
A statement was made in the city today, attended by tens of thousands of people, after Abdullah Zeydan, who was elected as the Co-Mayor of Wan Metropolitan Municipality, was not given his certificate of registration. After the statement, tens of thousands of people marched towards the courthouse where the Provincial Election Board is located. The police attacked the crowd with gas bombs and pressurized water near Maraş Street. Events started in all the side streets of the city. Many people were injured and detained in the attacks.
 
BARRICADES WERE ESTABLISHED ON THE STREETS
 
The crowd scattered on the streets and set up barricades with MOBESE poles, advertising signs and garbage containers. Additionally, fires were lit in many parts of the city. A group of young people entered the blockaded Cumhuriyet Street and marched. While slogans such as "We will win by resisting" are frequently raised, events continue in all streets.
