'We will not give up our acquired rights'

MERSİN/ANTALYA – Making a statement regarding the "Public Savings Package" announced by the government, the workers said: "We will not give up our acquired rights."
 
The Confederation of Public Employees' Unions (KESK) reacted to the "Public Savings Package" announced by the government with the statements they made in Antalya and Mersin. Speaking in front of the Antalya Courthouse, Office Workers' Union (BES) Branch Chair Devrim Mol stated that they wanted to make the workers pay the price for the crisis that occurred as a result of the government's policies.
 
“Save from those who cut corners with exchange rate protected deposit savings. Not from workers, retirees and poor people." Mol said.
 
CALL FOR STRUGGLE
 
KESK Mersin Branches Platform came together in front of Mersin Revenue Office and reacted to the regulation made under the name of "Public Savings Package". KESK Mersin Branches Platform Term Spokesperson Mahmut Sümbül said: "No to the liquidation of the public sector. We will not give up our acquired rights. We call on all public workers to fight together for their acquired rights."
