12th round of PUK and KDP cabinet talks

NEWS CENTER - In the Federated Kurdistan Region, PUK and KDP will meet for the 12th time in Dukan to determine the new government cabinet.

In the parliamentary elections held in the Federated Kurdistan Region on 20 October 2024, KDP became the first party and PUK the second party. Since the election, the PUK and KDP negotiating delegations have met 11 times regarding the formation of the new cabinet of the Government of the Federated Kurdistan Region. However, no conclusion has been reached yet.
 
It was reported that the PUK delegation headed by Bafel Talabani and the KDP delegation headed by Masrour Barzani will meet again today in Dukan city of Sulaymaniyah. It was noted that the latest developments regarding the formation of the new government cabinet will be discussed at the meeting.
