ISTANBUL – The police detained DEM Party Esenyurt District Organization co-chairs Bahar Karataş and Fatih Ergün and searched the party building.
People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Esenyurt District Organization co-chairs Bahar Karataş and Fatih Ergün were detained by the police who went to their homes in the morning. Searches were made at the homes of both co-chairs.
At the same time, the party building was also searched by the police. The books, magazines and computers inside were confiscated.
The reason for the detentions has not yet been learned.
