ŞIRNAK - Many people were detained during house raids in Cizîr. The physical and verbal violence of the police was shotted by the citizens.

 

Police raided many houses early in the morning hours in Cizîr (Cizre) district of Şirnex(Şırnak). Many people were detained, including Serhat Çağlı, Abdidin Küçük, Mehmet Çağdavul and Remzi Dadak, the director of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) District Organization. It was learned that children aged 14-15 were among those detained.

 

THE VIOLENCE OF POLICE 

 

The raid of the special movement police against a house was recorded by the families over the phone. In the footage, it is seen that the police use verbal and physical violence, while the voices of citizens who oppose it are heard. It is seen that the person trying to view the police violence was blocked by a police officer.

 

The people, whose reason for detention could not be learned, were taken to the District Police Department.
