NEWS CENTER - In protests in Iran and Rojhilat, 6,572 people were killed in 47 days, including 219 children, 6,506 protesters, and 66 civilians who did not participate in the protests.
The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) released its 47-day report on the protests that began in Iran and Rojhilat and spread across the country. According to HRANA's report, it has been confirmed that 7,005 people were killed in the protests. The report states that 6,572 people were killed, including 219 children, 6,506 protesters and 66 civilians who did not participate in the protests, while 214 people affiliated with the regime lost their lives. The report noted that 11,730 deaths are still under investigation.
The report stated that 25,845 protesters were injured, 53,166 people were arrested, including 136 students, and 11,051 were summoned for questioning.
The report noted that, in addition to the violent methods used by the regime's forces to suppress the protests, the regime began blocking SIM cards in addition to the internet blackouts it had been implementing to cut off protesters' communications. In addition to blocking SIM cards without official notification, mobile phones, laptops, passports, identity cards and birth certificates were also confiscated.
Referring to a report prepared by the Iranian Teachers' Trade Unions Coordination Council on the subject, the HRANA report stated that the regime forces had moved their pressure mechanism from the streets to schools and recalled that at least 200 students had been killed in the protests.
