AMED - Veysi Aktaş, who is held in isolation with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı Prison, was not allowed to attend the funeral of his father, who passed away yesterday.

 

Abit Aktaş, the father of prisoner Veysi Aktaş, who is held under heavy isolation conditions in İmralı High Security Type F Prison with PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and could not be heard from for a long time, passed away yesterday. The application of Asrın Law Office for Aktaş to attend his father's funeral was objected. Abit Aktaş was laid to rest in Yeniköy Cemetery in Rezan district of Amed.

 

The condolences established for Aktaş at the Cemil Kaya Mourning House in Rezan district will continue until Saturday.
