As part of their political party visits for Mother’s Day, the Peace Mothers visited the CHP Headquarters. The meeting with the delegation led by CHP Chair Özgür Özel has concluded. The meeting, which lasted approximately one hour, saw the Peace Mothers share their expectations and demands regarding peace, social dialogue and the ongoing process. During the meeting, the Peace Mothers presented white headscarves to members of the CHP delegation.

 

The Peace Mothers’ delegation included Behiye Yalçın, Afife Kartal and Müzeyyen Bütün, accompanied by Peoples’ Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan and DEM Party Amed (Diyarbakır) MP Adalet Kaya. The CHP delegation included Chair Özgür Özel, Deputy Chair responsible for Legal Policies Gökçe Gökçen, and member of the Presidential Candidate Office (CAO) Coordination Board Emine Uçak.
