Interim decision in Kobanê Case: All demands rejected 2022-12-03 13:41:43   ANKARA - Announcing its interim decision in the Kobanê Case, the court board rejected all the demands of politicians and their lawyers and decided to write a negotiation for the translation of the ECtHR's decision regarding Yüksekdağ into Turkish.   Kobanê where 108 people, including the former Co-Chairs of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and members of the Central Executive Committee (MYK), 17 of whom were imprisoned, were put on trial, on the grounds of the protest actions that took place on October 6-8, 2014 over the ISIS attacks on Kobanê. The 19th hearing of the case ended with the 8th session held yesterday.   ECtHR DECISION WILL BE TRANSLATED TO TURKISH   The court board announced its interim decision at the hearing held at the Sincan Prison Campus Trial Hall. The court accepted the request of the lawyers to include the Turkish version of the decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on November 8 about HDP former Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ, and decided to write a warrant to the Human Rights Department of the Ministry of Justice for translation.   The court board rejected all objections and demands made by politicians and lawyers regarding the opinion and trial method during the hearing, which lasted for two weeks, and decided to continue the detention of the politicians.   (
